TVA - Throttle valve actuators

 "Throttle valve actuator" er et elektronisk spjeld som regulerer luft i innsuget. I bensin motorer reguleres turtall og effekt, mens i nyere diesel brukes det for å skape vakuum når EGR er aktiv, eller for å unngå at motoren går etter at tenningen er skrudd av. Spesielt Dieselbiler har mye problemer med dette.
